Another edible gift from yours truly! Maple glazed nuts are super easy to make and a delectable hostess gift. They’re perfect for casual entertaining or tossed in a salad. Homemade edible gifts are always well received and perfect for every occasion.
Ingredients
  • 4 to 5 cups of mixed nuts (I used pecans, almonds, pumpkin seed)
  • ⅔ cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon chipotle powder
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350f (180c). In a bowl combine maple syrup, olive oil, sea salt and chipotle powder. Add nuts and toss to combine. Scatter over a parchment-lined baking tray and bake in the oven 20 to 25 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
Notes
The Culinary Chase’s Note: I used 3 cups of nuts – because that’s all I had (note to self: next time check the pantry for ingredients). The nuts are delicious but will be a bit on the sticky side if you use only 3 cups. Speed up the cooling process by placing the tray in the refrigerator. Enjoy!
